Sonas Bathrooms has strengthened its UK operation with the appointment of three new Area Sales Managers as the bathroom supplier continues to expand its presence across the market.
Agnes Taylor, Rebecca Abela and Lydia Harvey have joined the business in regional roles covering West London and the Home Counties, North London and Anglia, and the Midlands respectively.
Taylor brings 14 years’ experience in the bathroom sector, including four years working in bathroom showrooms followed by a decade in sales management. In her new role, she will manage key accounts across West London and the Home Counties, while supporting Sonas’ existing merchant network and identifying further growth opportunities.
Taylor said: “I’m delighted to join the Sonas Bathrooms team at such an exciting stage of the company’s expansion into the UK market. I’m looking forward to introducing our products and customer service offering to more customers across the region.”
Abela joins Sonas with 20 years’ retail experience, including 15 years across the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sectors. She has held both showroom and external sales positions and is also trained in Articad software, allowing her to provide customers with additional support around showroom layouts and product selection.
Her territory will cover North London and Anglia, where she will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships while developing new accounts.
Abela said: “My customers are at the heart of everything I do. The experience I have gained working in retail, both in showroom and external roles, allows me to understand their needs and find the right solutions.”
Harvey takes responsibility for the Midlands, bringing five years’ experience in the bathroom and interiors sector, including previous Area Sales Manager positions.
As part of her continued professional development, Harvey has recently completed a Basic Plumbing course at Shrewsbury College, strengthening her technical knowledge of the products and systems she will be supporting customers with.
She said: “I love working closely with retailers and seeing display areas and customer projects come to life. From product selection and focusing on the finer details through to the finished space, it’s incredibly rewarding to see everything come together.”
The three appointments will work alongside UK Sales Director Dean Stokes and Sonas’ wider team of Area Sales Managers as the company continues to invest in its UK operation.
