Grant Westfield has strengthened its sales leadership team with the promotion of Michelle McNairn to Specification Sales Director and David McKenzie to Regional Sales Director.
McNairn takes on the newly expanded role after more than 30 years in the industry, including the past decade with Grant Westfield. During her time with the bathroom manufacturer, she has held positions including Business Development Manager and Head of Sales.
As Specification Sales Director, McNairn will focus on developing the company’s specification activity, with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability and solutions designed to generate long-term demand across the market.
She said: “Grant Westfield has earned its position as the UK market leader through exceptional merchant and showroom partnerships. Our ambition is for the specification function to complement that success by creating value through innovation, sustainability and smarter solutions that generate long-term demand for our key customers, merchant partners and the wider business.”
McKenzie has been promoted from his role as Key Account Manager – North to Regional Sales Director, succeeding McNairn.
He brings more than 15 years’ experience in the building materials sector and began his career as a joiner and carpenter before moving into sales. He joined Grant Westfield five years ago as a Business Development Manager.
In his new role, McKenzie will lead a team of Business Development Managers and focus on strengthening relationships with both customers and the wider Grant Westfield team.
He said: “I’m excited about inheriting an ambitious team of Business Development Managers, whose passion for the business and the products we supply is clear to see.
“My key priorities are spending time with my team to understand how they work and meeting their customers as I look to build strong relationships internally and externally.”
